This lecture will take place in a ZOOM meeting format.
This lecture series will focus on cell type-specific mechanisms and cell differentiation. It will take place in 4 parts:
Part 1 Thursday May 6th 9:00 to 12:00: Histology and Cell biology of CNS specific cell types by Jan Bauer
Part 2 Thursday May 6th 13:00 to 16:00: Development of CNS specific cell types by Monika Bradl
Part 3 Friday May 7th 9:00 to 12:00: CNS related cell type-specific molecular mechanism by Johannes Berger
Part 4 Friday May 7th 13:00 to 16:00: Single cell analysis reveals new origins of PNS and its heterogeneity by Igor Adameyko

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This lecture series will focus on cell type-specific mechanisms and cell differentiation. It will take place in 4 parts:
Part 1 Thursday May 6th 9:00 to 12:00: Histology and Cell biology of CNS specific cell types by Jan Bauer
Part 2 Thursday May 6th 13:00 to 16:00: Development of CNS specific cell types by Monika Bradl
Part 3 Friday May 7th 9:00 to 12:00: CNS related cell type-specific molecular mechanism by Johannes Berger
Part 4 Friday May 7th 13:00 to 16:00: Single cell analysis reveals new origins of PNS and its heterogeneity by Igor Adameyko

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

The examination mode will be open book format with 24h preparation time. The examination download and uplode will be by MOODLE. There will be one question from each part. Each question should be answer in not more than half a page in the Word document. The correction of the question will be done by the lecturer of the respective block.
The 4 examination dates will be first date: Monday May 31 from 9:00 to Tuesday June 1st at 9:00. Second date from Monday June 28 from 9:00 to Tuesday June 29 at 9:00. 3 date: Monday September 27 from 9:00 to Tuesday September 28 at 9:00. 4th Monday December 13 from 9:00 to Tuesday December 14 at 9:00.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

There will be 10 points maximum for each of the 4 question thus a total of 40 points can be reachd. You need 21 points to be positiv (1-20=5; 21-25=4; 26-30=3; 31-35=2; 36-40=1).

Prüfungsstoff

The entire lecture. Slides will be provided on the MOODLE platform.
