Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Selected topics of cutting edge research and methodological advances in Chromosome and RNA Biology presented by different experts. Current topics (10 lecturers): Chromosome segregation and Aneuploidy, Chromosome Structure, DNA double-strand Break Repair, Meiotic DNA Damage and Repair, DNA Repair and Transcription, RNA Splicing and Export, Dynamic RNA expression and control, RNA processing, small RNAs, RNA turnover.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Written (final) exam addressing topics covered in the lectures. Selected topics and the number of questions may vary. Answers will be graded (1-5) by the lecturer in charge of the specific topic covered in the respective question.
