Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
During the seminar the present knowledge of the regulation of hunger and satiety will be discussed by critically evaluating recent papers on environmental, psychological, physiological, and genetic factors ultimately influencing the maintenance of body weight. Discussion of strengths and limitations of present research and their relevance for human nutrition is a crucial part of the seminar. At the end of the seminar, participants should have gained a better understanding of the regulation of hunger and satiety and the multidisciplinary approach required to untangle the links between the different factors.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Grades for the seminar are based on the abstract (10%), the scientific background of the presentation (50%), the style and format of the presentation (20%), and the discussion (20%). The presence of all participants for all scheduled seminars is compulsory.

Minimum requirement are 61 points out of 100 (i.e. 60%) based on:
• abstract: 10 points
• presentation: 50 points
• style and format of presentation: 20 points
• discussion: 20 Punkte

• 2 (gut) 89 – 81 Punkte
• 3 (befriedigend) 80 – 71 Punkte
• 4 (genügend) 70 - 61 Punkte
• 5 (nicht genügend) 60 – 0 Punkte
