at the beginning of the semester every student's general oral communication skills are evaluated; participation in discussion group; presentation; oral end of term test

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

improving oral communication and pronunciation skills, increasing vocabulary

Prüfungsstoff

3 discussion groups consisting of about 10 studentsdiscuss given topics, mostly current affairs and events; more general topics may be discussed too; every week a student acts as moderator of the discussion group and presents a summary of the discussion; furthermore students will make a 10 minute presentation and engage in role plays
