Exploring different styles and registers of spoken and written English; discussion competence; presentation skills.

Regular attendance, participation, home work, mid-term and end-of-term tests.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Improving students' comprehension and use of spoken English, improving writing and presentation skills (style, register, expression).
Prüfungsstoff
Adapting and modifying source texts to serve various purposes; oral presentation of texts in various styles and registers; paraphrasing; abstract writing; researching various topics and presenting the results in class (as an interview or a short presentation); working in groups or individually.
