Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

This seminar is equivalent to the master colloquium in the curriculum of Multilingual Technologies and primarily open to students of Multilingual Technologies. The thematic focus of this seminar is on multilingual technologies and computational linguistics as well as language technologies.

Before this seminar starts you should have already found a master's thesis topic, discussed your idea with a potential supervisor, and have started your literature research on the topic. Within the context of this seminar, you will present your topic including a preliminary theoretical foundation, preliminary method, and state-of-the-art. The state-of-the-art refers to publications that address a similar research question as your thesis. Furthermore, you will obtain feedback as well as provide feedback to others.
