oral communication and pronunciation skills

at the beginning of the semester every student's general oral communication and pronunciation skills will be evaluated in a brief conversation, participation in discussion, presentation, mid-term and end-of-term tests
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
improving oral communication and pronunciation skills, increasing vocabulary
Prüfungsstoff
three discussion groups consisting of 10 students discuss given topics, mostly current affairs and current events; more general topics may be discussed, too; every week one student acts as moderator of the discussion group and will present a summary of the discussion; one presentation (5 - 7 min) by every student; role play
