Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Improving the skill to interpret consecutively from Russian into English and vice versa by practicing and critically assessing one´s own performance.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Active participation throughout the term.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

To improve the skill of interpreting consecutively; improving the note-taking technique; improving vocabulary; improving research skills; gaining knowledge about various topical fields; teamwork; providing feedback to colleagues and assessing one´s own performance.

Prüfungsstoff

Working with texts (video or text speeches), both with and without preparation. Interpreting consecutively, followed by discussion in the group. Continuous work on vocabulary and expressions in both languages.
