This course will follow the course of art in the United States from 1830-1930.OPTION - South African art -- this will be discussed in class

The goals of this course are to understand how art has influenced America and Americans to this day. Why this concept is so important and where it came from.
Prüfungsstoff
Learning through communication. There will be group and individual discussions, analysis of artwork, reading with verbal and written communication of what has been read. Interactive participation in class is essential
