Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

We will cover a variety of English texts -- both fictional and non-fictional texts will be covered, discussed and analyzed

Participation in class, writing assignments -- comprehension; mid- term and final exam

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

When reading a text -- going the distance and looking for further texts; learning to comprehend a text on various levels through discussion and other viewpoints; writing summaries and short essays pertaining to the texts read.

Prüfungsstoff

Discussion of specific texts in class for comprehension; Text presentation and writing assignments
