Information

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

We will look at and work with different written, audio and audiovisual materials. Students should be able to improve and further develop their comprehension, writing, speaking and presentation skills.
To achieve these objectives, we will work with different texts, formats, genres: reading and listening activities, writing assignments, presentations, performances. Individual, pair and group work, peer reviews.

Mid-term test (30%)
Final test (30%)
Group assignment (25%)
Assignments and active participation in class (15%)

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Regular attendance is mandatory (two absences allowed).

60% of the above are required to pass the course.

Grading scale:
90-100% = 1
80-89% = 2
70-79% = 3
60-69% = 4
< 60% = 5 (fail)

Prüfungsstoff

The tests will be based on the assignments and work in class.

Literatur

Literature will be announced in class or on Moodle.
