Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Aims:
To provide students with advanced knowledge, skills and the ability to assess fitness parameters and performance using a variety of exercise tests in subjects of different age groups; with different health status and with different exercise capabilities.
To develop knowledge and understanding of the exercise capabilities of humans who are tested.
T o get insight of strengths and weakness of participants in the context of sport or activity in which they participate.

Purpose of testing, ethics and exercise testing; evidence-based practice - selection of tests for different motor abilities and skills based on needs analyses; application of fitness test batteries; pre-participation health and fitness appraisal in nonmedical setting; assessment of physical activity; cardiorespiratory assessment of apparently healthy population; assessment of pulmonary gas exchange and oxygen consumption; lactate testing; heart rate measurement (maximal and submaximal exercise test protocols) ; cardiorespiratory assessment of risk or diseased population; exercise testing for children and older; assessment of muscle strength, power and muscle endurance; measuring flexibility and range of motion; measuring coordination tasks and movement skills; assessment of body composition.
