Course 406366 provides an introduction to the economic, political, and social dimensions of IT in e-Europe. We investigate how do states, societies and citizens change as a result of participation in digital networks focusing on research on the WWW in the context of the socio-political implications of IT on State and Civil Society; Topics: E-Commerce, E-Government, E-Voting, E-Democracy, E-Learning, E-Information Dissemination.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

On completion of this unit students should be able to: Design and conduct a search of electronic, mass media, Internet and archival materials for use as documentary support of a project, and demonstrate basic skills in analysis and presentation of such materials in an appropriate academic format.
