Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
Students present 15-20 page papers in the seminar, containing either a chapter, an article draft, or a concept of their doctoral thesis. The papers will be discussed in the seminar. The participants are also expected to moderate another seminar paper, and write a short comment on each paper, to be submitted in the Moodle ahead of the class.The particular focus of the seminar is on philosophy of science and technology, as well as philosophy of cognitive sciences.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
A seminar paper (70 %)Written and oral comments on the work of other participants. The comments are expected to be both constructive and argumentative. (20 %)Moderation of another paper (10 %)Regular participation and punctual appearance in the seminar.Punctual submission of papers and written comments on them.All aforementioned components of the course have to be fulfilled for the successful completion of the grade.Attendance mandatory: one unexcused absence is permitted.Grading table
