• Presentation of concept: 15 credits
• Written feedbacks: 30 credits
• Written concept (due July 5, 2021): 40 credits (the announced submission date is binding)
• Participation in discussion and other tasks: 15 credits. Other participation will be counted positively into the final assessment.60 credits and the submission of the concept are needed to pass the course.1 (sehr gut) 100-90 credits
2 (gut) 89-81 credits
3 (befriedigend) 80-71 credits
4 (genügend) 70-60 credits
5 (nicht genügend) 59-0 creditsNote: If you submit later than the deadline of February 5, you will have to work on a complementary assignment. This includes writing a (brief) concept for a PhD project behind a PhD thesis which we would assign to you, similar to the in-course assignments that you have worked on during the course. (In case you wish to work on another PhD thesis, please consult with the course teachers.) Length: 5-6 pages. From our side there is no deadline for this late submission plus additional assignment; however, we need to have registered the grades by the end of September, so please make sure that your paper and assignment can be graded before that (consult with teachers regarding a reasonable submission date).
