We will hold a "PowerPoint Karaoke Session" during the seminar to practice improv skills.
The date of the PPKS will be announced during the first seminar on October 2nd.
The idea is to give a randomly drawn max—5-minute improvised oral talk repaired by someone else.

Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The purposes of this course is:
* To favour scientific exchange between doctoral students in meteorology and climate science.
* To train their skills in presenting and discussing scientific content.
* To gather expert advice and constructive feedback from senior academic staff.
* To develop their ancillary skills (e.g., scientific writing, data visualization).
* To raise their awareness about research ethics and scientific integrity principles.

Invited talks by qualified speakers complement the student seminars when necessary.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

All students enrolled in the programme must deliver one science or ancillary skills talk per semester.
Every student receives personal feedback after the presentation.
