To pass the seminar, students must:
• Participate in designing and conducting an empirical study (survey) at the school
• Write a collaborative final research report in groups
• Deliver a collaborative presentation in groups
• Participate regularly and actively in all seminar sessions and discussions
• Complete individual assignments
• Attend all the sessions (100% attendance is required)Use of AI Tools
The use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) is only permitted if explicitly authorized by the instructor for specific tasks

The seminar aims to:
• introduce selected aspects of empirical research and basic research methods,
• support students in formulating school-relevant research questions based on real-world needs,
• develop students' ability to design and carry out a small-scale empirical study in school practice,
• guide students in collecting and analyzing data from school settings,
• support transparent documentation and presentation of research findings to schools,
• enable students to work on a concrete research topic on social media in cooperation with a partner school.

Defined by the partner school — for this seminar: “Evaluation of the school homepage and social media channels (surveying students and teachers)”.Course Methods
