• Students will read all course materials and come to class prepared to discuss them and work on the content in small groups.
• Students will bring their own questions to class and be prepared to lead discussions about them
• Students will work cooperatively in groups and collaborate to complete assignments
• Students will submit all assignments on time
• Students will be open to trying out techniques and strategies in class that might get them up, moving and playing together

Prüfungsstoff
The cumulative final for this course is a 10 to 15-page paper discussing how you would change your teaching, specifically, and schools in general, if you were to teach and create learning spaces with embodiment and creative learning in mind.

• How might schools change if we consider the principles of embodied cognition and creativity?The goals of this course are
1. Students will develop a conceptual framework for about human cognition – specifically embodiment and its relationship to learning
2. Students will understand the role of creativity and its relationship to learning
3. Students will develop their own pedagogical practice and philosophy based on their own experience as a student and supported by embodied cognition and creativity
4. Students will develop student-centered units of study based on their experience and knowledge of human cognition
