Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

In the seminar, current topics in Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Physics will be discussed by external and local speakers. The seminar is intended for students who work or plan to work on a master or doctoral thesis in Quantum Information and Quantum Many-Body Physics.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Essay about one of the talks. (To be handed in latest by 28.2.2026; if graded as "fail", an improved version can be handed in by 31.3.2026.) Alternative forms of assessment, such as the presentation of a seminar talk, can be agreed upon with Prof. Schuch.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

Approved essay about one of the talks, or as agreed upon in case of alternative forms of assessment, e.g. successful presentation of a talk.

Regular attendance of the seminar is required. In particular, participants who are not present in the first unit without being excused will be de-registered.
