The interdisciplinary CoBeNe PhD Academy connects like-minded, enthusiastic early career researchers, presenting their PhD projects, methods and outcome in the multifaceted field of Psychology, Biology, Cognitive Humanities and Neuroscience. This conference-like format offers parallel sessions for oral presentation, poster session with related master students and time for informal exchange. The PhD academy is strongly recommended for every CoBeNe PhD candidate. Further information about the schedule and abstract registration will follow.

Elements of the 4th annual PhD Academy:
- Poster session for Master students
- Parallel sessions of presentations/talks by PhD candidates
- Keynotes by CoBeNe alumni, one for each discipline
- Panel discussion between keynote speakers
- Workshop for secondary school students, designed as an opportunity to engage in science communication and the university’s third mission while encouraging students from diverse backgrounds to develop an interest in science and pursue a university degree
- Kick-Off and concluding social events
- Lab tours to facilitate exchange between disciplines by getting to know each other's work environments

The workshop for secondary school students takes place on the first conference day and is prepared by PhD candidates within the framework of the research seminar “Taking Responsibility for the Future - the Third Mission: Concepts, Implementations and Challenges” held by professor Barbara Schober.
