Information
Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
This Seminar provides the opportunity to present and discuss state of the art research results with a multidisciplinary audience. The students (two per session) present their recent work, covering background, results, conclusion and outlook in their 20 minutes presentation. The emphasis is on the critical assessment of recent data and their implications for the student’s future plans in the following 10-15 minute discussion. All presenters receive feedback on their communication skills.
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Compulsory attendance; the evaluation consists of different performances: quality of the seminar presentation and active participation in the scientific discussion.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
Compulsory attendance; 100 points can be reached:• Active participation: 70 Punkte (70%)• Presentation: 30 Punkte (30%)both subgrades must have a positive evaluation.
