802965 VO Algebra für LehramtskandidatInnen (2005S)

The construction of the various kinds of
numbers -- from positive integers to complex numbers -- motivates the study of basic
algebraic structures, which will be dealt with in the course: semigroups, groups, rings, fields. Also some topics from number theory which are
relevant for teaching in school will be presented, like rules for divisibility of integers and b-adic expansion of real numbers.
