Assessment: The assessment is based on a final written exam (i.e. take-home essay).

Students are required to read the selected CJEU judgments and EU legislation before each virtual class.
In addition, students are strongly advised to read chapters 20 and 21 from the textbook CHARLMES, DAVIES, MONTI, EU Law. Texts and Materials, latest edition. The background reading is available on Moodle.

Contents: The course aims at training students to solve practical cases in EU competition law. During the course, selected judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in the field of EU competition law (i.e. Art. 101 and 102 TFEU and Reg. 139/2004) will be analyzed.
