Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

The purpose of the course is to refine students’ ability to identify and solve problems of treaty law. This ability should enable students to deal with untreated problems that may arise in the course of their future professional work.
The course will be taught in an interactive manner, combining lectures and discussions.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Active class participation (30%)
Written essays: Final assignment (4 pages) & 3 short essays of your choice (1-2 pages)

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

80% for a positive grade, based on the written papers.
Compliance with the readings assignments before the respective lecture and active participation in class will be taken into account for the final mark/grade (20%)
