Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Effective communication of research findings is essential for Early Career Researchers to engage broader audiences and amplify the societal impact of their work. This one-day workshop, titled 'Communicating Your Research with Impact', is designed to equip Early Career Researchers with storytelling tools and strategies for framing the societal relevance of their research.

Led by seasoned experts in communication and science outreach, participants will delve into practical techniques aimed at distilling complex ideas into compelling narratives. Furthermore, the workshop will emphasize the art of framing research within broader societal contexts, encouraging postdocs to articulate the real-world implications of their findings. Through interactive sessions, and by embracing concise communication approaches, participants will sharpen their ability to convey the relevance of their work across various platforms.

Facilitated by a communication expert with a background in Public Relations (PR) and a seasoned linguist, science communicator and successful podcaster, this workshop promises hands-on training and actionable insights. Attendees will emerge equipped with the skills and confidence to effectively communicate their research and driving positive societal change.
