Prüfungsstoff

Depending on COVID, students will either take a written translation exam or an oral translation exam drawn from the readings covered in the lectures.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Students will be expected to submit a short essay (3-5 pages) with a similar original exercise of their own on a passage that attracts them.

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

The lectures will be delivered in English, but students are welcome to ask questions in and write their essays and exams in German, French, or Italian. The course might also be of interest to students of Comparative Literature.
