The exam is a so-called 'open book exam' on location (at the Sensengasse, see above). During the exam, you may consult all course material (primary and secundary sources, class notes), and you will submit the exam on Moodle. Therefore, please make sure to bring a laptop.

Prüfungsstoff
In weekly lectures, a primary text will be introduced and contextualized. Lectures are accompanied by background reading. Readings are presented in Moodle, together with study questions to prepare in home study. Presentation slides from the lectures will be published on Moodle as well.

The course is concluded with a written exam.
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
The exam consists of essay questions, inviting to contextualize primary literature with reference to secondary literature and lectures.
Students of Comparative Literature in BA-M6 or MA-M3 (if used as foreign-language course) have to answer in English; all other students can answer in German, or in Dutch as well.
