The primary goals of the course include the acquisition of the ability to critically deal with exegetical specialist literature, the ability to apply the most important methods of exegesis to biblical texts in practice, as well as increasing independence in the formation of judgments on specialist biblical discussions and different hermeneutical concepts.
Methods: Lecture by the seminar leader, joint testing and discussion of the most important methods in the introductory seminar, independent application of the method steps to selected biblical texts (individually, in pairs and in groups), writing of an overall interpretation in the form of an e-portfolio. The presence phases in the proseminar are supplemented by independent work on the text ("blended learning" via Moodle).
