Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Die Debatte um das spezifisch Christliche hat die christliche Ethik seit ihren Anfängen begleitet. Das Seminar wird anhand ausgewählter Texte theologischer Klassiker (Augustinus, Thomas von Aquin, Ockham, Suárez u.a.) und anhand zeitgenössischer Autoren (z.B. Auer, Hauerwas) das Zueinander von Gottesfrage und ethischer Vernunft exemplarisch behandeln.

Assessment and permitted materials

Erfolgte Absolvierung eines wissenschaftlchen Proseminars, Anwesenheit und Mitarbeit, Vorbereitung und Abhaltung eines Referates, schriftliche Seminararbeit.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Kenntnis historischer Positionen und aktueller Diskussionen über das Verhältnis von Gottesfrage und ethischer Vernunft im Rahmen theologisch-ethischen Denkens. Vertiefte Kenntnis eines ausgewählten Entwurfs. Fähigkeit zur Analyse des Verhältnisses von Gottesfrage und Ethik in ausgwählten Texten.
