Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Modern societies usually are of international character; nevertheless different cultural backgrounds create dominant social characteristics and form the foundation for differing ways of living that exist in different continents. In the seminar, we will compare forms of living and ask what we can learn from the differences for our ethical reflection.

Assessment and permitted materials

active participation as well as presentation with handout and written seminar paper (30.000 characters)

regular and active participation (discussion)
Evaluation: written seminar paper (50%), presentation with handout (30%), active participation (20%)
