Aims, contents and method of the course

Introduction to the developments, main themes and figures of medieval philosophy.

Assessment and permitted materials

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

1. Overview of developments in European Philosophy from 4th to 15th century.
2. Knowledge of main philosophers, theirs works and main thoughts.
3. Introduction to exemplary texts and their interpretation.

Examination topics

Lecture, interpretation of texts.
