Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar will stimulate and discuss medical ethical and bioethical questions of the participants. In this semester we will talk about Neuroscienses in the context of anthropologiocal and ethical questions in the fields of Neuro-ethics, Neuro-theologie, Neuro-philosophy and the entire debate of freedom of human beings.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written paper (15 pages) required for certificate.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Ability to discuss contemprary ethical problems in bioethics and medical ethics and to discuss all the anthropologiocal and ethical problems in the context of neurosciences.
Examination topics
Reading, commenting and presentation of texts, individual tasks to be complished by e-learning.

Grundlage ist das gerade in dritter Auflage erschienene Buch von Thomas Fuchs, Das Gehirn - ein Beziehungsorgan. Eine phänpomenologisch-ökologische Konzeption, Stuttgart 3. erw. Auflage 2010. Weitere aktuelle Literatur wird zu Beginn des Seminars bekanntgegeben.
