010070 SE Homicide in the History of Ethics (2016S)

A text based seminar

Continuous assessment of course work

The seminar intends to stimulate critical reading of texts and therefore is structured as a text based seminar. The texts all discuss cases of killing persons that have been brought forward in the history of theological ethics, e.g. murder, killing in self-defense, murder of tyranns, killing in war and in duel - all cases that challenge the capacity of the ethicist to make differences.
