Aims, contents and method of the course
The course is an introduction to Old Testament Wisdom Literature (Hebrew and Greek).
Assessment and permitted materials
- Written exam of 45 minutes about the topics of the lecture and mandatory readings.
- No external materials permitted.
- The exam will be held in German. For non-native speakers, an oral exam can be requested in either English or French.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
- Acquisition of a sound knowledge and command of the Old Testament Wisdom Books, knowledge of the books discussed during the course.
- Rating scale in points: 35-33 Sehr gut (A); 32-28 Gut (B); 27-23 Befriedigend (C); 22-18 Genügend (D); 17-0 Nicht genügend (F).

Examination topics
Content of lectures given by the instructor as well as select chapters of the English course book. Knowledge about the books of the Christian Old Testament which are discussed during class time.
