    Aims, contents and method of the course

    Practice and in-depth application of the grammar which had been taught in NTG I & NTG II; translation of capita selecta of the Greek New Testament.

    Assessment and permitted materials

    1) NTG supplementary examination
    examination: in written & oral form
    # written: 3 hrs, appr. 300 words of an unknown text of the Gospels or Acts; permitted materials: dictionary, Rienecker, list of short words (textbook p. 344f)
    # oral: 20 min; grammar; vocabulary; reading matter of NTG I-III; no permitted materials; preparation time: 10 min
    assessment: 1 cumulative grade
    # grading key
    1 :: 0-2,5 substantial = distorting mistakes
    2 :: 3-4,5 substantial = distorting mistakes
    3 :: 5-8 substantial = distorting mistakes
    4 :: 8,5-12 substantial = distorting mistakes
    5 :: 12,5- substantial = distorting mistakes

    2) NTG I-II
    examination: in written & oral form

    Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

    Competence in independent translation of more complex Greek New Testament texts.
