Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In dieser Vorlesung, die auf dem Grundkurs Anthropologie I zwar aufbaut, aber nicht voraussetzt, wird in einem ersten Teil die Kritik an der "philosophischen Anthropologie" des 20. Jahrhunderts thematisiert (Humanismus-Streit zwischen Sartre, Heidegger und Foucault, Theorien über das Ende des Menschen, Transhumanismus). Im zweiten Teil werden konkrete Bereiche einer philosophischen Anthropologie in Licht der Theoriedebatten in multiperspektivischer Form behandelt (z.B. Natur und Geschichte, Geburt und Tod, Individualität und Sozialität, Determinismus und Freiheit, Leiblichkeit und Geschlechtlichkeit, Arbeit und Spiel).
Methode: Vortrag mit Diskussionsmöglichkeit und Materialblättern.

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral or written exam. The exam is usually held in German, although English and Spanish are possible, when needed.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

In order to pass the exam, sufficient expertise has to be proven, at leat 50% of the points.
