Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar aims at practicing a critical discussion of texts and introduces into the main ethical argumental structures. Students prepare basic knowledge about the authors of the texts that will be jointly read, they summarize the texts, discuss them critically and receive feedback for their texts, in order to prepare them as well as possible for the writing of their written paper.

Assessment and permitted materials

Referat während des Seminars.
Beteiligung bei den Diskussionen.
Verfassen einer schriftlichen Seminararbeit.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regelmäßige Teilnahme (1 x entschuldigt fehlen möglich)
Beteiligung an Diskussionen
Vorbereiten und Vortrag eines Referats (10-20 Minuten)
Abgabe einer schriftlichen Seminararbeit im Umfang von 10-15 Seiten bei Einzelarbeit oder 7-8 Seiten bei Gruppenarbeit.
