Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Christliche Spiritualität bezeichnet die (erstrebte) Durchformung des gesamten Lebens durch den Geist Christi. Dabei spielen bestimmte Haltungen, die das Verhalten zu Gott, dem Mitmenschen und zur eigenen Person prägen, eine besondere Rolle. Nach einem Überblick über die Bereiche der christlichen Spiritualität wird die Vorlesung in diese Grundhaltungen, vor allem in die sogenannten theologischen Tugenden (Glaube, Hoffnung, Liebe) sowie in weitere Haltungen (Barmherzigkeit, Gottesfurcht u.a.) einführen.
Methode: Vorlesung, Möglichkeit zu Rückfragen; Texte und Quellen zur vor- bzw. nachbereitenden Lektüre werden über die Moodle-Plattform zur Verfügung gestellt.

Assessment and permitted materials

Oral examination of approximately 20 minutes, about the content of the lessons. Alternatively, the preparation of the exam can be done by special literature and reading of the sources (depending from a personal agreement with the professor).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Vertiefte Kenntnis des Werkes herausragender Personen der Theologiegeschichte im historischen Kontext, Befähigung zur systematischen Reflexion der Fragestellung.
Für die Bewertung der Prüfungsleistung sind sowohl die inhaltlichen Kenntnisse wie die reflektierte Darstellung maßgebend. Für eine positive Bewertung ("genügend") müssen mindestens 50% der Fragen beantwortet werden.

Examination topics

Vorlesung. Quellentexte zur vertiefenden Lektüre werden teilweise in der Vorlesung behandelt, teilweise über Moodle zur Verfügung gestellt.
