Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this seminar, doctoral students will present, discuss, and critically engage with their research projects and proposals. The aim is to provide participants with the opportunity to further develop their project ideas within an expert group and to reflect on their research approaches in light of academic discussions.
In addition to presenting and discussing individual research ideas, we will also read and collectively analyze relevant academic texts related to each research topic. These readings will help deepen the theoretical and methodological understanding and contribute to the advancement of participants' research.

Doctoral students from Islamic Religious Education will participate in the discussions. Other interested students are also invited to share and discuss their research ideas within this academic setting.

Since we will be inviting international experts, the seminar will be conducted in both German and English. However, it is not possible to determine in advance which sessions will be held in which language.

Please note that only students who are officially enrolled in a doctoral program at the University of Vienna will be admitted to this seminar.
