Aims, contents and method of the course

Objectives: Knowledge of the seminar topic, ability to deal with ancient sources and secondary literature.
Content: Familiarization with research on the Historical Jesus through introductions to research approaches and source work.
Methods: joint reading and discussion of source texts, presentations.

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment of preparation and participation as well as the essay

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Minimum requirements: Fulfillment of all required partial performances, regular attendance.
Assessment: preparation of the seminar sessions 30%, participation in the seminar 30%, presentation and essay 40%, each part must be positive.
