    Aims, contents and method of the course

    The lecture introduces the history of early Christianity (30-135 AD), explains the social and religious historical conditions of its spread and the different developments in the first 105 years.
    Methods:Lecture with Power Point and opportunity for questions
    Accompanying reading of the textbook is recommended.

    Assessment and permitted materials

    Written examination on the content of the lecture. Within the framework of the STEOP examination, this written exam takes place together with the examination on the lecture "Epochs of Church History". For teacher training students (diploma) as well as EC students, the written exam is at the same time. No aids are allowed!

    Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

    Three out of four questions on the material of the lecture must be answered. 33 points are awarded for each question.1 (very good) 99-90 points2 (good) 89-81 points3 (satisfactory) 80-71 points4 (sufficient) 70-60 points5 (insufficient) 59-0 points. The STEOP module examination is only passed if both parts - History of Early Christianity and Epochs of Church History - have been positively completed.
