Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral examination based on a Greek text discussed in the lecture: Translation of a text passage (33%), literary context (33%), individual interpretation (34%). All parts must be completed successfully.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Ability to translate and provide a historical-critical exegesis of a passage from Matthew 1-2 or Luke 1-2, knowledge of exegetical questions and research findings on the infancy narratives.
Examination topics
The exam covers everything presented in the lecture.
