Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture offers an overview of 2000 years of church history. The different epochs, central lines of development, topics and important persons are presented.
The lecture offers the basis for an in-depth study of the history of Christianity.

Assessment and permitted materials

Examination (no additional aids are allowed). Dates see above.
This exam, consisting of three questions, is a partial exam which, together with the New Testament exam on the history of early Christianity, also consists of questions, which make up the module exam. Both exams have to be passed separately.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course takes place as a lecture.
The lecture is assessed with 3 ECTS (1 ECTS = 25 h working time):
The attendance of the lecture - or respective reading - results in (almost) 1 ECTS.
The lecture is accompanied by urther reading tasks (per unit/topic both source texts and secondary literature), which serve to deepen and secure what has been heard and prepare for the examination (about 3-4 h = 2 ECTS).

Examination topics

Der Stoff der Vorlesung ist der Prügungsstoff.
