Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Within this seminar we will read Gerd Theißen and Annette Merz "Der historische Jesus" (Göttingen, 4.Aufl. 2011; engl.: The Historical Jesus: A Comprehensive Guide, 1998) and discuss the problems of reconstructing the Historical Jesus. In preparation for the first session please read chapter 1.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active cooperation, handling of assignments and text preparation, seminar paper.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance (2 absences allowed), cooperative activity during the seminar, positive evaluation of assignments, positive seminar paper.
Examination topics
The exam will be done by a seminar paper on an agreed topic.
