Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Early Christianity and early Judaism recurred to the same Holy Scripture, the "Old" Testament. The early Christianity developed on the one hand new ways to interprete and incorporate the Holy Scripture to early Christian thought (interpretatio Christiana) while it stayed connected to Jewish traditions on the other hand. Exemplary texts shall be interpreted to illustrate this process. A last glance shall be thrown at the formation of the canon of the New Testament.
