Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this practical seminar students design an individual sermon which will be reflected within the whole group. Each sermon will then be delivered in a Sunday-service in one of the churches nearby and after the service reflected together with people from the congregation. The students are coached through all steps.

Assessment and permitted materials

- Regular attendance and initiative cooperation.
- Submission of first draft of the sermon.
- Submission of a revised version of the sermon after discussion in the group.
- Final: Scientific paper including the sermon and all scientific analyses.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Preparing and delivering an individual sermon.

Examination topics

Discussion of the first draft of the sermons, methodically based on feedback; the questions will be worked out together with the group.
