The seminar analyzes selected sermons. The focus will be especially on understanding how "high theology" from the Arian, Donatist or also Pelagian controversy was conveyed in sermons.Method: Under guidance, primarily primary source texts will be analyzed, which each participant will have to prepare independently. Presentations on supplementary secondary literature are to be given. An own term paper applies this to a self-selected topic in an own analysis.
