Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course aims to deepen students' methodological competence in church history by analysing selected source texts in the original language together with a translation.
Assessment and permitted materials
Students are expected to participate actively during the semester; there will be no separate follow-up examination. Students are required to prepare the agreed source texts and to apply methods of church history to them.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In addition to compulsory attendance, the following will be graded: a) the care taken in preparation (30%), b) active participation during the course (40%), and c) the written follow-up of the source with a discussion in the exercise in the form of a short commentary (will be distributed proportionately at the beginning of the semester).
