Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The introductory is held in cooperation with the New Testament one but can be attended separetly. It is dealt with the specific historcial-critical approaches of the Old Testament. It introduces the plurality of present methods. The emphasis is on reader-response-criticism, literary and narrative exegesis and methods that acknowledge the horizon of the reader.It is expected that the student has passed the first Hebrew exam.

Participation in class, homework, presentation, [Bachelor thesis in OT or NT)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquaintance with classic historical-critical and present methods. Ability to write an exegesis of a biblical text by taking into account relevant methods.
