Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course offers an international comparative perspective on juvenile justice. It will focus on trends in juvenile justice, on institutions and procedures, on sanctions and practices of diversion, on juvenile penitentiary law and on children's rights in the context of juvenile justice as well as international legal frameworks regarding juvenile justice.
Assessment and permitted materials
Participants are required to give an oral presentation and hand in a short paper on the same topic. Furthermore active participation in class discussions is expected.
